Our handmade architectural bespoke joinery is manufactured using the finest quality sustainable hardwoods, supplied from carefully selected saw mills throughout Europe. The timber is bought in waney edge boules allowing us to keep a consistent grain and colour match throughout each project. This attention to detail can make all the difference once the project is complete.
Wainscot Interiors offer a wide variety of specialist finishing methods. Our team of finishers are enthusiastic passionate and have a keen eye for detail.
Using traditional skills involving hand planing, distressing and texturing of the grain we aim to create a level of authenticity.
Through water stains and shellac french polish we create our own unique finishes. Crafting bespoke colours using pigments and applying the shellac by hand to get the right look for each project.
We also use modern finishing techniques, such as, spraying lacquers and spirit stains for contemporary work. Every project we undertake varies so requires its very own specific attention to detail.
We believe that good design and fine craftsmanship will always have a place and are proud to be part of a thriving English woodworking tradition.
We hope you enjoy viewing our website and would love to be involved with any project big or small.
